*This Girl LOVES the dirt. We get this at least once a week. A cute dirty face.

*CAMPING~~~FINALLY!
Brock and Emma on the 4wheeler, she wanted to ride it about 10 times a day
Digging with Uncle Jerry. She took to him right away. Everything she wanted to say, she would direct to him. "Uncle Jerry, that's the 4wheeler" "Uncle Jerry, you scoop(dig) with me?" etc.
Helping Pappa burn the trash.
*You might be a redneck if......*
.....you strap your child's carseat to the front of the 4wheeler so she is safe. And believe me that thing wasn't going anywhere. ~He only rode with her around the campground like this~
She loved it. She kept wanting to go again and again.

Emma's first haircut

At 2 years 10 months 2 weeks and 1 day Emma had her first haircut!! Oh my gosh she looks like she jumped from 2 years old to 6 in about 10 minutes. I still can't get over the change. She looks so dang cute. My friend Leslie cut it, she gave her some bangs, she evened out the back and tapered around her face.

Lately

Wow!! So much to say about what has been going on lately! We finally moved into our new house on April 28-29th weekend. The first day/night we were there I didn't feel like it was a strange place, which was nice. It felt like home immediately! So that meant that we got to celebrate our 8th anniversary in our new house on May 1st. We have had some problems crop up here and there but, thankfully, nothing too severe. A couple sprinkler heads here and there and a couple of broken sprinkler pipes. (Luckily the dirt here in Roy is sand--no rocks like Brigham). One negative is that we don't have TV or Internet but that is ok, for now :) I have been just going to McDonalds to check up on things. Emma gets to play in the playplace while I surf the net for a little bit. Today we had a LOVELY water leak in our basement and we found out it is because the seal is broke somewhere where the tile and the shower pan meet so we have to re-caulk that and hopefully we can redo our shower this winter. Emma loves our huge yard. She has a fair amount of toys that she plays with but her favorite passtime is squishing bugs! YUCK!! My parents were able to come visit this last weekend. We felt so good that we were able to offer them a place to sleep rather than ask them to stay in a hotel. We went to the zoo and the city creek center. That was so much fun! Emma has been coming up with interesting thing to say, like if I am getting after her she will tell me "Ok, Ok, Calm down" in a soft voice. Then we were getting her into her carseat and that is kind of a game for her to see how long it takes us to get her in by asking nicely. Now Brock was getting her in and he doesn't lose his cool too often with her but even he was getting frustrated and once he got her it she was not happy and she says to us "This is TERRIBLE!" in a fussy voice. Oh boy. Well that is enough for now. Hopefully I can come back and blog again soon. Maybe with pictures this time

FINALLY!!!

We are finally getting a house! But man, this waiting is getting old. We found this house in Roy and there is a widowed lady that is living in there right now and she needed some extra time to move out, which we agreed to. So we are giving her 50 days to close and move and all that jazz. But it is amazing. It has a huge backyard for Emma to just run and run. Its all fenced in so we won't have to worry about her getting out (hopefully :) ). It has been really well cared for. We are planning to paint before we move in, so I will post pictures later after we move in and have our own stuff in there. But we just can't believe that a house this amazing and perfect for us was in our price range it has 3 beds and 2 baths with the potential for another bed and bath downstairs. 2100 sq ft its a tri/multi level house. Its just perfect! We are so excited to move in, we are counting down the days.

Phoenix

My Parents flew us down for a few days after Christmas and man was it nice. 70+ degrees the whole time we were there. Emma got to go to the park and play (once we got home she didn't understand why we couldn't go to the park here too ). My Grandparents came over from California for the weekend too which was nice to get to see them and visit. Emma really took to "The Chief" (my grandpa) she had so much fun with him. We played games and went to the only Cafe Rio in the state of Arizona. Luckily its only about 40 minutes (with traffic) from my parents house. We were definately not ready to leave the warm weather!

Christmas 2012

We spent a quiet Christmas at home. Emma got an ENORMOUS amount of toys from Santa, Mom and Dad, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles.
